PROT has been working effectively for more than 20 years to develop tourism in the region, creating new tourism products and offers and promoting them on a wide scale.

A variety of trails and unique tourist attractions

The Subcarpathian region offers countless attractions to tourists. One of the tourist highlights is the Blue San Water Trail, which leads through picturesque corners of the region, offering nature lovers the opportunity to admire its pristine landscapes from the perspective of the river. For those with a passion for history and architecture, there is the Trail of Wooden Architecture, which connects the most beautiful wooden monuments, such as churches, Orthodox churches and mansions, bearing witness to the region's unique cultural heritage.

The Podkarpacka Regionalna Organizacja Turystyczna not only promotes the region, but also works intensively on education and competence development in the tourism industry. Numerous industry training courses are organized to improve the professional qualifications of tourism staff, responding to current market needs. PROT also conducts research on tourism and the region's image, and the knowledge gained is widely popularized to support the development of local tourism initiatives.

Podkarpackie is also home to dynamic events and projects that attract more and more tourists every year. One of the latest success stories is the Podkarpackie Tourism Barometer, an innovative tool for monitoring and analyzing the tourism market in the region. In addition, the All-Poland Blue San Canoe Rafting is becoming an annual attraction for lovers of active recreation, offering an unforgettable experience on the water. The region is also enlivened by the Lasowiak Culture Festival “Etnolas”, during which one can learn about the traditions and customs of this unique ethnographic group.
